This year we will produce a booklet of recipes based on things the average gardener can grow at home. We need you to submit your recipes so we can make the booklet available by the time our delicious summer produce is rolling in! It would be great if you include information about your growing experience, the variety used, and/or any other tips or a story that will add depth to the recipe.
There are a few rules to this activity:
- It has to be an edible that grows well in our area (squash, yes! your indoor lemon tree, no.)
- It has to be a recipe you have made before.
- It has to be easy to reproduce with minimal ingredients and basic kitchen equipment
Email, call, or drop off your entry with your name on it to the church office c/o Penny Gibbs. The deadline for material is Earth Day–April 22.
